Built for 1099 filers

Turn a shoebox of receipts into a Schedule C in minutes.

Snap a photo. We pull the vendor, line items, and the right IRS category. At tax time you export a CSV that drops straight into Schedule C. No spreadsheets. No data entry. No April panic.

No credit card surprises. Cancel anytime. $19/month after trial.

Built for people who hate bookkeeping

If your "accounting system" is a drawer full of crumpled receipts and a Notes app, you're who we built this for.

Freelancers & consultants

Coffee with a client, a Zoom subscription, a coworking day pass — track every billable dollar without the spreadsheet shame spiral.

Musicians & bands

Gas to the venue, new strings, hotel for the out-of-town show, gear repairs. Tour expenses categorized the way the IRS expects.

Solopreneurs & creators

Software, ads, contractor invoices, home office supplies. One photo per receipt and your books stay current without a bookkeeper.

Three steps. Zero spreadsheets.

From photo to filed in under a minute per receipt.

  1. 01

    Snap the receipt

Upload from your phone or drag it into the dashboard. Crumpled, faded, multi-page — it all works.

  2. 02

    AI extracts the details

Vendor, date, total, every line item, and the suggested Schedule C category — all in seconds.

  3. 03

    Export at tax time

One click downloads a Schedule C CSV grouped by category. Hand it to your CPA or paste it into TurboTax.

Your Schedule C, already filled in.

Every receipt maps to the right Schedule C line as it's scanned. Open Receipts in April and your deductibles are already tallied — export to CSV and you're done.

  • Auto-categorized to official Schedule C lines
  • Split personal vs. business in one tap
  • CSV import-ready for TurboTax and most CPAs
  • Full audit trail: original photo attached to every line

Questions, answered.

Do I need an accountant?+

No. Most solo filers can paste the CSV straight into TurboTax, FreeTaxUSA, or H&R Block. If you do work with a CPA, they'll thank you for handing them clean, categorized data.

What about receipts I've already lost?+

Bank and credit-card statements are valid backup for the IRS — upload a PDF and we'll extract the line items the same way we do photos.

Is my data private?+

Yes. Your receipts and account data are encrypted at rest, never sold, and never used to train public models. You can delete everything from Settings at any time.

What if I have an LLC or multiple side hustles?+

Create separate workspaces for each. Each one gets its own export, so a single Receipts account can cover your freelance work, your band, and your Etsy shop without mixing them up.

Can I cancel?+

Anytime, from the Billing page. You keep access through the end of the billing period.

Stop dreading April.

Start with 14 days free. Snap your first receipt today and see your Schedule C take shape before you finish your coffee.
